Nicolas Darcourt
January 2007-January 2009

Nicolas earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Northern Michigan University and in 2006 earned his Master of Fine Arts from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis. Of the group here at the Archie Bray, Nicolas says, "It's a great crowd!"

"I focus on capturing movement and freezing physical gestures. The relation of figurative elements to base elements is important to me; it helps to challenge physical balance and communicate human experience. "
