Join us for a toast to Frances Senska and her contribution to education in the ceramic arts. \n\n\n\nSenska was a renowned ceramicist who taught at Montana State University for over 25 years. She was a pioneer in the field of ceramics and her work is held in collections around the world. She was a dedicated educator and mentor as well as a practicing artist and her influence helped to shape modern ceramics. \n\n\n\nThe Frances Senska Center for Education and Engagement is one of the many branches of The Bray which strives to inspire creativity and innovation through the ceramic arts. \n\n\n\nThe new sign is a fitting tribute to Senska’s legacy and her commitment to the arts. It is a reminder of her impact on the world of ceramics and her dedication to education. \n\n\n\nAttendees are invited to visit the resident artist studios during Open Studios from 5-7 pm immediately following the sign unveiling. This a great opportunity to meet artists from across the country and around the globe\, see their work in person\, and learn more about their creative process.

Allowing the studios to be open during scheduled times gives the resident artists time and space to commit to their studio practice. We welcome the Bray community of supporters\, former and prospective resident artists\, art collectors\, and curious minds to enjoy these focused hours of engagement at the Bray.

Experience works in progress; talk with the artists; see the Resident Artists Exhibition; take a self-guided tour and see site-specific sculptures; and have the opportunity to purchase artwork from The Bray Sales Gallery! These areas will be open for viewing: David & Ann Shaner Resident Artist Studios; Summer Resident Artist Studios; Warehouse Gallery with the Resident Artists Exhibition on display; and The Bray Sales Gallery.
