Applications for 2027 artist residencies will be accepted between Mid-September and March 1, 2027.
As always, we are looking for a good mixture of ceramic artists who make functional, sculptural, conceptual, or other work.
Please be aware that, in 2027, The Bray will continue to celebrate its 75th anniversary. We anticipate things will be busier than usual. Residents will be asked to volunteer at all receptions, especially the week of July 26-31. Thank you for your understanding!

This application form is for all artists who wish to apply to the Bray. Please be advised, tourist and B visas are not acceptable to participate in an Archie Bray Foundation residency program. All accepted artists must have a visa and a US Social Security Number that allows them to be paid for their Residency Award and commissions on the sales of work sold through our galleries and exhibitions.
How to Apply
Applications for The Bray artist in residence program each year will be accepted online from September through March 1. By following the apply online link you will be taken to Slideroom.com which will allow you to register and upload your images and other information.

Application Check List
When applying please submit the following information:
TIP *For good image quality and a fast upload, your image files must be sized around 1800 x 1800 pixels at 72 dpi (approximately 6" x 6" at 300 dpi). Please do not submit images smaller than this requirement.
Your completed application must be received on or before MArch 1, 2027
