Fellowships
Each fellowship awards $7,500 for one year to support a long term resident artist who demonstrates exceptional merit and promise. The Fellows are expected to embrace the Bray experience of community and creative exchange and have the opportunity to focus their attention to produce and exhibit a significant body of work during their residency. Fellowships are non-renewable.
The Bray has had the honor and privilege to award the following fellowships—Taunt, Joan Lincoln, Lilian, Matsutani, Speyer, Windgate, Lillstreet Art Center, Etchart-Satre, Quigley-Hiltner and Visions West Contemporary fellowships—made possible by Suzanne Francoeur Taunt, Joan and David Lincoln, Osamu and Grace Matsutani, Tim Speyer, the Windgate Charitable Foundation, Lillstreet Art Center, Paulette Etchart and Jon Satre, the Quigley Hiltner Family, Visions West Contemporary and anonymous donors.
