A new sign will be unveiled Friday, June 2, 4:30 pm, at the Frances Senska Center for Education and Engagement, located at the Archie Bray Foundation (The Bray). Join us for a toast to Frances Senska and her contribution to education in the ceramic arts.
Senska was a renowned ceramicist who taught at Montana State University for over 25 years. She was a pioneer in the field of ceramics and her work is held in collections around the world. She was a dedicated educator and mentor as well as a practicing artist and her influence helped to shape modern ceramics.
The Frances Senska Center for Education and Engagement is one of the many branches of The Bray which strives to inspire creativity and innovation through the ceramic arts.
The new sign is a fitting tribute to Senska’s legacy and her commitment to the arts. It is a reminder of her impact on the world of ceramics and her dedication to education.
Attendees are invited to visit the resident artist studios during Open Studios from 5-7 pm immediately following the sign unveiling. This a great opportunity to meet artists from across the country and around the globe, see their work in person, and learn more about their creative process.
