Dominick Vanderlip was born in Lower East Side, Manhattan, NY in 1997. He was raised by two artists in Los Angeles, CA and went to school at Montana State University in Bozeman, MT. He has exhibited in group shows in Los Angeles, CA, Oakland, CA, Helena, MT and Bozeman, MT. In 2019 Vanderlip was commissioned to do a mural at B-Hive Collective in Livingston, MT. Now residing in Helena Montana Vanderlip works at the Archie Bray Foundation Clay Business, and as an assistant for wood fire potter Tara Wilson. While painting in the free time, Vanderlip’s time making bounces back and forth between clay and paint creating an interesting dynamic through both.
